Ever wanted to know how to send an SMS from a Gmail account, how to do smokey eye makeup, or maybe you still just can’t tie a tie?

WonderHowTo is here to help you! This site that boasts over 170,000 how-to videos and guides can help you learn how to do practically anything, from the mundane to the mad.

Although WonderHowTo started out as a site dedicated to searching and indexing the internet for all the great video tutorials on the web, it has since expanded and now contains a large array of original content that includes both videos and articles.

The website is easy to navigate and well set out. Interests are divided into four main categories: Arts, Science & Tech, Lifestyle and Gaming. Each of these four categories are then divided into smaller interest groups such as Fine Art, Software, Home & Garden and Hobbies, for example.

When you first visit the site the home page displays the hottest content from that day. If that doesn’t interest you you can also view the newest content for that day, as well as the most active or post from writers that you follow (you must join the website to do this, membership is free).

One of the great things about WonderHowTo is that many of its members contribute articles. So if you want to know how to play the chords to your favourite rock song, how to do the hairstyle that was sported by your that pop star last week, or maybe even find 14 clever and non-craft uses for popsicle stick, the very growing online community on the website is there to help! You can choose to either post a video or write an article depending on whichever you prefer.

As well as create tutorials, you can also comment on other people’s and receive feedback on your own. It is this creation of an online community where skills are shared and learnt that has seen WonderHowTo grow in recent years and is what sets this website apart from other similar ones such as Youtube.

So if you want to know how to do something but don’t know where to learn, pop over to WonderHowTo and see what knowledge you can gain or contribute!
